I have the following problem, I want to use the following instructions to access what they need to do hosting, Deploy the web site
firebase login
before this statement I had to install firebase -tools and update node.js and npm
firebase init
and it gives me this error
Yesterday happened to me when I was trying to do to deploy my site to a Hosting Firebase and also threw an error, but different. However, once I upgraded all the packages in npm, it stopped throwing the error.
You could try the following: npm update or npm update -g to update packages in the global and then back again.
Additionally, if you're using Angular, make sure that when you do ng build --prod it create correctly the folder "dist", which is from where are uploaded the files to Firebase.
